Déjà la fin mars !!!
Comme chaque année, mars est le point culminant des activités marionnettiques à Montréal. Votre humble rédactrice a été bien occupée à mener à terme des projets donc moins présente sur le web. Les Festivals Casteliers, le OUF et leur pavillon commun ont été un succès sur toute la ligne avec des invités de 6 provinces canadiennes, des États-Unis, de l’Espagne, de le France, de la Belgique, de l’Écosse, de la Pologne, de l’Angleterre et de l’Espagne. UNIMA-CANADA y voyait réalisé deux projets: La loterie des Petits Déjeuners et le dévoilement de la collection de cartes postales.
Pour les petits déjeuners, afin d’accompagner Lucile Prosper, gagnante pour Montréal, nous avons dû revoir la liste de nos participants (suite au désistement des deux gagnants de l’Atlantique) et c’est finalement Vicky Côté du Saguenay qui a été notre deuxième participante. Les filles ont préparé et servi les déjeuners aux équipes nationales et internationales pendant Casteliers en échange d’un hébergement et d’un passeport pour le Festival de Casteliers. Un succès!!!
Pour le dévoilement des cartes postales, c’est la nouvelle conseillère Sabrina Baran qui a présenté le projet lors de la soirée de lancement du festival Casteliers. La collection de 5 cartes postales est maintenant disponible et se promènera lors d’événements en marionnette au pays.

Lors du Congrès de l’UNIMA qui se tiendra du 28 mai au 5 juin prochain à San Sebastian / Tolosa, tous les conseillers internationaux se verront remettre une collection qui fera la promotion des artistes de chez nous.

Already the end of March !!!
Every year, March is the culminating point of puppetry activities in Montreal. Your humble servant was thus quite busy finalising projects… and less present on the journal. The Festivals Casteliers, the OUF and their common pavillion of celebrations were a huge success with guests from 6 Canadian provinces, the United States, Poland, England, Scotland, France, Belgium and Spain.UNIMA-CANADA completed its two projects of the year: the UNIMA-CANADA breakfasts and the postcard collection.
For the breakfast, to accompany winner Lucile Prosper of Montréal, we had to go down the list since our 2 winners from Atlantic Section had to change their plans. We finally welcomed Vicky Côté from Saguenay as our other participant. Every morning, the girts prepared and served breakfast to the national and international guests of Casteliers while receiving lodging and a Casteliers Festival Passport. A huge success once again.
For the unveiling of the postcard collection, our new councilorSabrina Baran presented the project during the inauguration night of the Casteliers Festival. The Collection of 5 postcards is now available and will travel with events around the country. During the UNIMA Congress (May 28th – June 5th in San Sebastian / Tolosa, all the international councilors will recieve a collection to promote the work of our artists.
