Special ticket rate of $38 (service charges and taxes included) for the Carrefour international de théâtre’s programming, a $17 discount off the regular price. With this deal, you can purchase one pair of tickets for each of the shows in the program. To take advantage of the discount, mention your AQM membership and show your membership card when purchasing in person or picking up your tickets at the Carrefour’s box office.

Founded in 2009, the Stop Motion Festival is the first festival in the world dedicated to the diffusion of cinematographic works created exclusively through stop motion animation. The Festival is entirely dedicated to the promotion of stop motion, an amazing technique that creates the illusion of movement using objects or characters that would otherwise be inanimate.

L’Illusion, Théâtre de marionnettes is getting a makeover! The season kicks off with major construction work. At the corner of St-Denis and Beaubien streets in Montreal, this new space will be a unifying hub for children, adults and all those who are passionate about the arts of puppetry.

REHEARSAL SPACES AND RESIDENCIES
AQM members can access the lowest rental rates for the spaces at theMaison internationale des arts de la marionnette (MIAM)! Starting at 9$/hour for the workshop and 14$/hour for the fully equipped rehearsal laboratory. Contact us for more information!
Need a place to make your puppets? The MIAM’s workbench is available for rental by the hour, exclusively to AQM and UNIMA members!

La Bulle offers AQM members affordable rental of a creative space with accommodation for up to 6 people.
If you are undergoing a creative process and are applying for grants, we can support you and become a partner that can offer you very affordable rates.
Located on the banks of the Magog River, the place offers artists a multifunctional workroom, with human resources, equipment and basic support in sound and lighting, a workshop with tools and a sewing room with industrial machines.
Presenting in front of a guest audience at the end of a residency can be arranged.
Room description: 20 feet by 25 feet, 12 feet high, black curtains (360 degrees), mirrors, dance floor, lighting bridges, lights and sound system.
In addition, since 2020, La Bulle has enhanced its partnership by offering a free 7-day residency for two people to an AQM member. The selection of the project is done by a random draw (more details on the next draw to follow).

La Bulle – In June 2014, Sylvie Baillargeon and Sylvain Bazinet, two artists from the Sherbrooke region, realized their dream by enlarging their house on the banks of the Magog River in order to create an artistic workspace for the performing arts. Since 2016, several artists and companies from the Eastern Townships, Montreal and Quebec City have had the opportunity to stay there to begin or perfect their creative projects.
